Summer Learning Institute
The Summer Learning Institute is LSR7's enrichment program offered each summer.
SLI this year will be one daily session featuring enrichment classes with recovery skills incorporated in each class. The program is open incoming kindergarten through seventh grade students.
Summer Learning Institute 2022 will run from June 2-30. (An optional drop-in day to tour SLI sites and meet teachers will be held on Wednesday, June 1 from 1 to 3 p.m.)
Elementary Sites: Cedar Creek, Hawthorn Hill ,Westview, Sunset Valley, Longview Farm, Highland Park and Richardson
Middle School Sites: Underwood and Pleasant Lea Elementary
Space is limited in the Summer Learning Institute. Families are encouraged to enroll early each year.

Please note: Eligible students must fill out an application to receive free or reduced meals at Summer Learning Institute. Complete an online application before the end of the school year to qualify.
March 18: Course catalog shared with parents.
April 1: SLI enrollment opens at 8 a.m. in the PowerSchool Parent Portal.
April 15: SLI enrollment closes at 3 p.m.
June 1: Optional "drop-in" day at SLI site from 1 to 3 p.m.

Before and After School Services YMCA
Through Lee's Summit R-7's partnership with the YMCA of Greater Kansas City, Before and After School Services are available during Summer Learning Institute.
BASS YMCA opens at 6:30 a.m. and ends at 6 p.m. before and after Summer Learning Institute. BASS Summer enrollment opens March 8, 2022 at 10 a.m.
